Early Careers

Many people talk about the ‘world of FMCG’ (Fast Moving Consumer Goods), but when we dig a little deeper, we often find that the amazing range of career opportunities that are available in this industry surprises people!

So, to ensure that we are building the talent pipelines we need for the future, we are continuing to increase our focus on driving industry awareness and ramping up the early careers opportunities available at Griffin’s Snacks. Currently, we offer...

  • Graduate roles; We have a range of jobs that have been identified as suitable for graduates who have specific qualifications. These include roles such as Graduate Food Technologist, Graduate Packaging Technologist and Graduate Digital Marketing/Shopper Executive.
  • Entry level roles: Although many of our roles do require specific technical skills and experience, we also have jobs that we consider ‘entry level’ as they don’t require any proven experience – for these roles we look for a great attitude, reliability and willingness to learn!
  • Manufacturing Traineeship Program: This is an exciting pathway for people wanting to start and grow in a career in Food Manufacturing. Starting as a Machine Operator, trainees are trained on machines within the plant, with opportunities to gain National Qualifications as they work and the support of mentors. This is a multi-year journey with opportunities to specialize further, build skill sets and grow in other areas of the business.
  • Internships: Over recent years, we’ve proudly taken part in the annual FMCG Futures Internship Programme, offering a range of paid internships to students interested in getting a taste of the world of FMCG. To date, we’ve offered these internships within functions including Marketing, Sales, Finance, Human Resources, Operations and IT. These opportunities are advertised via an external provider, usually through a mid-year recruitment campaign, with the 12-week internships taking place over summer. Have a read below for some of the feedback from our recent interns…

All of our early career opportunities are advertised online as and when they are available.

Griffin’s has been such a great company to work for because of their culture and willingness to pass on their knowledge. I was constantly learning new things, the exposure to different roles and how everything and everyone works together was really interesting. Being able to apply the knowledge I gained from university and put it into practice as well as being part of a team where my work was valued was also really rewardingClaudia, Human Resources Intern

The FMCG Griffin’s Internship was great. I met a lot of new people, learnt a lot of new skills and nurtured concepts and ideas I learnt from university. It was quite exciting to see the process of how my favourite snacks came to be. I loved the work environment and seeing how an idea was formed and released from development to executionJulia, Marketing Intern
